Commissioned for Hotel Calimala in Milan, Italy, this 220cm-tall outdoor Totem explores the relationship between light, materiality, and space. Designed in dialogue with the hotel’s interior language, the sculpture reflects Calimala’s distinctive colour palette, refined textures, and use of reflective mirrored materials. Encased within a precise 10mm brass structure with a satin chrome finish, it balances architectural clarity with contemporary elegance. The dichroic glass surface responds dynamically to its surroundings, capturing reflections, refracting light, and shifting through a spectrum of colours to create an ever-changing visual experience that merges seamlessly with the atmosphere of the hotel.
