Inspiration

The inspiration emerged from the thread itself. At i-Mesh, the same thread is woven into lightweight architectural membranes, where precision and openness create structures that appear almost weightless. I was fascinated by the way a fundamentally two-dimensional material could generate sculptural, three-dimensional forms.
The dialogue between the discipline of the machine and the unpredictability of the thread became the driving force behind the design. Rather than imposing a form, I allowed the material to lead the creative process.
The resulting piece draws inspiration from the undulating topography of mountain landscapes and the rhythmic movement of ocean waves. It captures the delicate balance between geometry and nature, precision and spontaneity, transforming a technical textile into an expressive sculptural form.
